Start your day by exploring the dreamy town of Rosemary Beach. With its cobblestone streets and European-inspired architecture, this town makes you feel like you’re a world away.
Your kids will love exploring Gigi’s Fabulous Kids’ Fashions and Toys. Our kids picked out the cutest toy- a surfer dude that actually rides the waves! You’ll also want to pop into The Hidden Lantern Bookstore to find a great vacation read and browse chic home decor at Tracery.
Don’t forget to pick up a souvenir or two to remember your 30A adventure!

Whether your family loves building sandcastles, swimming, or simply relaxing under an umbrella, the beach offers something for everyone.
Pro tip: Pack a cooler with drinks and snacks to keep the fun going without interruptions!

Dinner: Grace Pizza and Shakes
Satisfy your post-beach appetite at Grace Pizza and Shakes. This was one of our family’s favorite meals on 30A and we know you’ll love their gourmet pizzas! Plus, the milkshakes are HUGE. Our family of six shared two milkshakes for a delicious desert.
Evening: Crab Hunting
End your first day with a classic 30A activity–crab hunting!
Grab a flashlight or a headlamp and head back to the beach after sunset. Watch your kids’ faces light up with excitement as they spot tiny ghost crabs scurrying along the sand. It’s a simple yet memorable experience that’s sure to be a highlight of your trip.

Day 2
Morning: Alys Beach Nature Trail
Today, it’s all about Alys Beach! Known for its iconic white stucco architecture, wide walkways, and upscale yet relaxed vibe, this town is a picture-perfect destination to explore.
Start your morning with a leisurely hike on the Alys Beach Nature Trail. This .75-mile trail winds through lush greenery, offering a unique escape into nature. The trail is flat and easy, making it perfect for families with kids of all ages.
(Make sure your packing checklist includes comfortable shoes!)
Brunch: Raw & Juicy + Alys Beach Playground
After your hike, head to Raw & Juicy, a delightful cafe offering fresh smoothies, acai bowls, and other breakfast favorites. Their smoothies are a family favorite of ours and we know you’ll love them too!
While you enjoy your brunch, the kids can burn off energy at the Alys Beach Playground, conveniently located right outside.
Afternoon: Pool or Beach Time
Depending on your family’s preference, either relax by the pool or head back to the shore. Both options allow you to cool off with a dip in the water and soak in that Vitamin D.

Dinner: George’s at Alys Beach
Cap off the day with one of the most beloved restaurants on 30A, George’s. This local favorite is known for its creative and flavorful dishes. The laid-back yet upscale ambiance perfectly matches Alys Beach’s sophisticated charm.
Be sure to try their calamari fries–my personal favorite! Pair it with a delectable lobster roll and you will be in seafood heaven.
Day 3
Morning: Donuts & Bike Rides
Start your day on a sweet note with a stop at The Donut Hole, a local institution famous for its oversized donuts and made-from-scratch pastries. If there’s a wait to get in, simply enjoy the outdoor seating and yard games.
After breakfast, head to Frankie’s Bike Shop to rent bikes for the morning. 30A’s scenic bike paths are so much fun to explore and your kids will love the ride!

Lunch: Bud & Alley’s Waterfront Restaurant
For lunch, make your way to Bud & Alley’s, a beloved waterfront spot in Seaside that boasts stunning Gulf views. Seriously–you’ll want to take your camera along!
The seafood is delicious, however be prepared for a wait. This popular restaurant often has a line, especially during peak hours. If you want to avoid the crowd, try arriving during an off time.
Afternoon: Buccaneer Pirate Cruise in Destin
This afternoon, get ready to become parents of the year by taking your kids on the Buccaneer Pirate Cruise in Destin!
Your kids will love the pirate-themed fun, from water gun fights to treasure hunts and sword-fighting lessons.

End the day with a special dinner at my favorite restaurant in all of 30A–the Old Florida Fish House.
You’ll need to make reservations in advance, as this spot is in high demand, and for good reason! The outdoor seating complete with twinkling string lights and live music, creates the most dreamy atmosphere. Plus, it’s still kid-friendly!
Their menu features a mix of fresh Gulf seafood and Southern favorites, so there’s something for everyone. This is the perfect place to savor a relaxed, memorable meal with your family.

Day 4
Morning: Explore Eden Gardens State Park
Start your day exploring the lush grounds of Eden Gardens State Park. This local gem isn’t on most visitors radar when visiting 30A, yet it is a unique experience that should be on everyone’s itinerary!
This state park features towering oak trees draped in Spanish moss, beautiful gardens, and the historic Wesley House. You’ll want 1.5-2 hours to explore the park’s trails and tour the mansion.
Lunch: Airstream Row in Seaside
For lunch, head to Seaside and enjoy an eclectic selection of food trucks serving up a variety of delicious options. This allows everyone in the family to pick what they’re craving.
From elevated grilled cheese sandwiches to barbecue and fresh seafood (lobster rolls anyone??), you’ll enjoy your meal dining outdoors on shaded picnic tables. It’s a fun, vibrant part of Seaside you won’t want to miss.
Afternoon: Shopping in Seaside
After lunch, walk just across the street to explore the boutique shops of Seaside. You’ll find unique clothings shops, home decor stores, and kids boutiques.
Don’t forget to pick up one of the iconic Seaside t-shirts from The Seaside Style! We each picked a different color shirt and it made the perfect souvenir.

Dinner: The Bay
Wrap up the day with dinner at The Bay, a waterfront favorite known for its incredible food and stunning sunset views.
With its relaxed vibe and a menu featuring everything from sushi to Southern classics, this spot is a hit for families. Opt for the outdoor seating along the bay for a delicious and memorable dining experience.
Day 5

Kick off your final day with a visit to Grayton Beach State Park, our favorite hiking spot in the area.
The trails here wind through beautiful sand dunes and along Western Lake, a rare coastal dune lake. The views are stunning, and the peaceful atmosphere is the perfect way to start the day.
Keep in mind that the sandy terrain isn’t stroller-friendly, so bring a carrier if you have little ones who might need a lift.

For lunch, head to The Big Chill (formerly The Hub), a lively dining and entertainment venue.
From tacos to burgers to fresh seafood, the variety of walk-up food joints ensures the whole family will find something they like. There’s often live music or outdoor entertainment, making it the perfect place to spend a couple hours as a family.
Check out their calendar to plan your visit around one of their family-friendly events.
