- The Wilde Resort and Spa– This beautiful resort is stunning! The rooms have modern decor with a nod to the southwest heritage and soaring windows with views for days. Enjoy dining and spa services, along with a beautiful pool.
- Amara Resort and Spa– The grounds of this resort just can’t be beat! If you want gorgeous views of the red rocks, this would make a great choice for you. The infinity pool might be my favorite part!
- Ambiente– Everything about the aesthetic of the Ambiente just screams romance! Take in the views from the floor-to-ceiling windows, enjoy the 2-person free-standing tub, and relax in the pool at sunset surrounded by fire pits.

Best Things to Do on Your Sedona Babymoon
You’ll likely want a mix of active and relaxing things to do on your babymoon in Sedona, so I have categorized them accordingly! Remember to speak to your doctor or midwife before planning your itinerary to see if you have any limitations to consider.
Active Things to Do
- Hike Bell Rock Trail– This moderate hike is just .8 miles and is full of stunning scenery. Take advantage of the views to get some photos of that growing baby bump! This hike is especially stunning at sunrise or sunset.
- Slide Rock State Park– This beautiful state park provides opportunities for swimming, picnics, hiking and trout fishing. *Note- the rocks can be very slippery when wet! You may want to stay on the dry and level areas when you are expecting. There is a $20 per car fee during the weekdays, and $30 per car fee during the weekends and holidays.
- Red Rock State Park– Another popular state park, this popular attraction offers guided nature walks, guided bird walks and moonlight hikes. The park is open 8:00am-5:00pm daily and the admission cost is $7 for 14yrs+, $4 for ages 7-13, and free for children 6 and under.
- Red Rock Jeep Tour– If you are up for a little adventure, try out the highly-rated jeep tours through some of the areas most beautiful scenery. This is a great way to see iconic sites such as Cathedral Rock, Coconino National Forest, Snoopy Rock and Bear Mountain Trail.

Relaxing Things to Do
- Tlaquepaque Arts and Shopping Village– Meander through this unique outdoor market that is quintessential Arizona! Enjoy art galleries, beautiful architecture and local shops.
- Couples massage– Spend the day at one of the many relaxing spas such as Sedona’s New Day Spa. They offer nail services, massages, facials and desert nature body treatments.
- Stargazing– Sedona is an amazing place for stargazing! Get away from the city lights and snuggle up with your hunny as you take in the grandeur of the night sky. There are even star gazing tours you can explore!
- Explore the Chapel of the Holy Cross– Although there are hikes that go by this Sedona attraction, you can also drive straight to it if you aren’t feeling a hike! This beautiful Catholic chapel boasts beautiful architecture and can be a stunning place for reflection. At the time of this writing, the chapel is open daily 9:00am-5:00pm and there is no charge for admission.

Calling all foodies! Don’t miss these delicious restaurants on your Sedona babymoon. We all know food is one of the best parts of travel!
- The Hudson– This is the perfect place to eat with a view! Enjoy American fare with delicious seafood and drink options.
- Vespa Italian Cafe– This laid back eatery gets high praise for its unique pizza and Italian offerings. It is even gluten, keto, and celiac-friendly!
- Outlaw Grille- If your pregnancy craving is a burger, don’t pass on Outlaw Grille! Their huge burgers and BBQ sandwiches in a laid-back atmosphere are sure to please.
- Shorebird– Offering Brunch, lunch and dinner, Shorebird features a unique chef-made menu that is delicious and looks like art on a plate. Guest favorites include crab cake benedict, raw oysters and pork chops.
- Red Rock Cafe- Touted as the best breakfast in Sedona, Red Rock Cafe serves classics such as breakfast skillets, huge cinnamon rolls and omelets.

Day Trips from Sedona
If you wish to get out of the city and experience something new, there are several epic day trips from Sedona that you can add to your babymoon itinerary! Drive yourself, or take a guided tour.
- Flagstaff– (50 minutes from Sedona) Visit Sunset Crater, Walnut Canyon National Monument and the Lowell Observatory.
- Grand Canyon National Park– (2 hours from Sedona) Check one more national park off the list by visiting this awe-inspiring canyon.
- Antelope Canyon– (2 hours 50 minutes from Sedona) Talk about awe-inspiring, Antelope Canyon is one of the most photographed destinations in the southwest.
- Phoenix– (2 hours from Sedona) The capital of Arizona, Phoenix is known for its luxury spas, outdoor adventure and high-end golf courses. The ever-popular Scottsdale is also just outside Phoenix.
- Prescott– (1.5 hours from Sedona) Prescott boasts a quaint downtown, beautiful lakes and popular museums.

How Long Should I Stay in Sedona?
This can depend on a lot of factors, such as if you have other kids, how much time you can take off from work, and how far you live from Sedona.
Three to four days would make a perfect mini-babymoon, while a full week would be a great amount of time to visit if you are able. The extra days gives you time to truly relax, plus see and do a lot around the Sedona area and beyond.
How to Get to Sedona, Arizona
The Flagstaff Pullium Airport is the closest commercial airport to Sedona. You can also consider flying into Phoenix.
If you are driving, come in on highway 89A if coming from the north or west, and use highway 17 to 179 if coming from the Phoenix area.
